Key Responsibilities

  • Always exhibit the core values of the Agency.
  • Responsible for keeping current on matters of concern to the insurance industry and Private Client world, including but not limited to, markets, HNW carrier strategies, and contracts.
  • Main focus on New Business and renewal remarketing as directed by the Marketing Manager; obtaining sufficient information to prepare a complete submission of an insurance program which best meets the needs of the client/prospect.
  • Submits account to viable markets looking for the best coverage price, terms and conditions assuring reasonable chance of profitability to the agency and company while providing the best coverage to suit client’s needs regarding their exposures and pricing requirements.
  • Compiles quotations, proposals, schedules of insurance, premium comparisons and provides binder and any applications/required forms to bind coverage
  • Once approved, binds coverage, obtains necessary signed forms and creates necessary supplemental documents (auto ID card, evidence of insurance, binders).
  • Follow-up with HNW team members to ensure proper and timely processing of all paperwork.
  • Responsible to refresh existing quote indications (coverage, deductibles, Misc.) As requested by Producer/AE or AM or directed by Marketing Manager.
  • Update Epic as required to track and complete new business and remarket documentation in the Agency Management System. (Example: Create Shells, transact).
  • Ambitious and motivated to grow new business.
  • Maintains a cordial business relationship, at all times, with those they interact with both internally and externally.
  • Keeps abreast of competitive posture of agency and changes in the marketplace.
  • Special assignments and additional duties based on business need.
  • Attends educational courses to maintain license and designation.

Competencies Requirements

  • This position requires a detail-oriented, focused individual who is looking for a challenge. They will be able to work efficiently and effectively in both a team environment and independently. Must have out standing time management and organizational skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience with Private Client (High Net Worth) insurance industry carriers.
  • Experience within a busy administration role in an office environment
  • Intermediate level competency using Excel and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent Communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong problem solving/analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong servicing background and customer focus
  • Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels including internal and external stakeholders

Role Overview:

Provides full support to and acts on behalf of producer whenever necessary or requested.Assists producers’ solicitation of prospects/clients, markets personal accounts to insurers and assists in the sale of the best available combination of price, coverage and services for new and renewal personal clients. Assists in achieving producer and agency profitability goals in meeting or surpassing agency’s carrier premium commitments. Fully services client/prospects in a timely and professional manner, freeing producer(s) to focus on other opportunities.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Makes recommendations, based on client’s exposures and quotes being presented to client/prospect, to producer suggesting changes, additions, deletions when appropriate.
  • Keep current on PCG and Personal Lines Carries and markets to determine the most appropriate market for placement of each account. Keeps team informed of new available markets.
  • Insure proper financial arrangements are agreed to by client, responsible for collecting premiums.
  • Follow-up with PCG and Personal Lines team members to ensure proper and timely processing of paperwork.
  • Implement agreed marketing strategy including creating a complete underwriting submission; contacting markets; managing underwriting deadlines; and securing final carrier proposals.
  • Prepare and issue customer proposals.
  • Handle ongoing service including endorsements, requests for policy information, certificates of insurance and other data.
  • Respond to routine inquiries; refer complex or unusual circumstances to Sales Executive.
  • Assemble policies when required.
  • Check policies for accuracy and forward to client.
  • Rate when applicable noting additional information needs.
  • Review Notice of Claim and immediately report to carrier and follow up until finalized; alert Sales Executive if an unusual occurrence.
  • Responsible for keeping current on matters of concern to the insurance industry and niche client markets.

Role Requirements:
  • 5+ years of retail Insurance Agency or Broker experience in a service role within Private Client (High Net Worth)
  • Strong knowledge of insurance coverage and contracts; ability to analyze forms and coverages
  • Strong knowledge of market underwriting standards and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated aptitude for computer based work management; ability to achieve skills in agency system software
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems creatively
  • Ability to effectively communicate key information
  • Ability to develop proactive working relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Excellent organizational skills, including ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

The Account Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the service needs of our affluent client base. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain client relationships with phone calls and office visits
  • Inform, educate, and make recommendations to clients, carrier representatives, and underwriters
  • Determine acceptability and placement of coverage and collect premium payments when applicable
  • Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads as appropriate and in accordance with standard practices, policies, and procedures
  • Resolve billing issues and service requests while maintaining concern for timeliness and completeness of information
  • Monitor status of change requests, review policy documents for accuracy and follows up to delivery of change documents to clients
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of carriers, products, and services offered
  • Oversee the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts
  • Ensure account data is accurately captured, entered, and maintained in the agency management system


Job Requirements

  • Current and valid 2-20 Florida license is required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in middle market or high net worth personal lines industry
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service is required
  • Key relationships with luxury carriers, such as AID, Chubb, PURE preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of personal lines products and the unique needs of high net worth clientele
  • Polished interpersonal skills, including relationship-building skills with clients and co-workers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Applied (EPIC) system experience preferred
